The Project Guys are a consultancy company that partner with committed small & medium trade-based business owners to help them develop and build their businesses. Essentially we help our clients solve their $100,000 problems.
What does this mean? Every business at some stage comes up against a problem that could potentially have a $100,000 effect on the business. For example they may need increased sales, to develop a better operational system or a better project management system, to employ a new staff member, to develop new marketing strategies or develop a new product, or to find better ways to communicate with and manage clients.
Through our core services of coaching and business project management we provide the expertise, skills, knowledge, experience and confidence to solve the issues holding our clients back. This allows them to operate their businesses more efficiently, more profitably, and to achieve better results.

Craig Oliver is the founder of The Project Guys. His intrinsic passion for helping business people succeed has seen him acquire numerous hours with business owners both big and small to do just that.
Craig’s 25 year career has allowed him to work in a variety of roles within the corporate and private sectors, and as a business owner across various industries in New Zealand and overseas. These industries include banking, furniture manufacture and sales, telco, construction sales, project management, business management, insurance, sales and marketing training, and sales coaching. During this time Craig has received national recognition for his sales results and leadership abilities.
Craig is an accredited New Zealand Business Mentor, and has studied and completed workplace coaching qualifications with the New Zealand Coaching & Mentoring Centre.
He is also an active member of the New Zealand Chapter of the internationally recognised Project Management Institute (PMI), and is currently studying towards becoming a Certified Associate in Project Management.
It is the combination of the above experience, his natural relationship building skills and personable demeanour, along with his collaboration with other business people and networks that allows him to add value to every business he works with.
During his down time Craig can be found enjoying the spoils of Taranaki, immersing himself in some DIY projects around his house, and spending time with his wife, young son, and friends.
